Hellooooo! I know it has been awhile since I have blogged yet again, so let me get you all up to date on the happenings here in good ole North Carolina.
As you probably already know, Bryan and I got a new puppy! Her name is Roxy and she is part beagle and part basset hound. She was really shy and didn't want to play much when we first got her, but now she wants all of our attention. Instead of warning us when she needs to go outside, she barks to let us know she did it inside. She does this even after we took her out 5 min before.
In other news, it has been pretty chilly out these past few days. Not as cold as it is at home, but still cold.
I have yet to hear back from the daycare where I turned in my application last week.

Wow! Yet again it's been awhile since I last blogged. although I do have a good reason. This last week, we couldn't get our wireless internet connector to work. Thanks to Josh and Rachel, it has been working pretty well today!
Here in the big NC, the weather has been kind of sporadic. It will be warm and sunny one day, warm and cloudy the next. and chilly and rainy the next. But it was nice to finally get rain seeing as how we are in the middle of a drought. Yesterday it poured all day. It was the most it had rained since we have been down here!
I finally went to New Bern on Saturday to pick up an application for a daycare kind of like kiddie korner at the Y. I am excited but nervous at the same time.
I am starting to miss my friends a lot more. I haven't talked to Tiff or Cassie in a couple of weeks! I also need to call Denise because I haven't talked to her in awhile either!
I have been hanging out with my new awesome friend Rachel, a lot these last few weeks. We have had her and her husband, Josh, over for dinner and to just hang out a lot and Rachel had me over for dinner last night while Bryan was at work. She made Chicken Parmesan which was wonderful. They have also been using our washer and dryer these last few days. You see, their friend gave them a washer and dryer but the spin cycle on the washer doesn't work, which is kind of important. Plus the dryer vent broke.
Well, I haven't had anything really exciting happen, so I am going to end this post. If you want, give me a call! I am kind of bored! lol!
Hey guys! As you most likely already know, Bryan and I have moved into a new house! After being in TEQ for almost a month, we got a phone the week before Christmas from TMO saying that a house would be available that day. The first few nights, we slept on an air mattress that we bought at Wal-Mart. Little did we know, that after four or five hours we would end up practically on the floor. We still have yet to find the hole in it!
The movers came that Friday with all of our things. But that was the second time around. They came at about 8:45 am, got everything set up to bring stuff in, and I signed the papers. The first guy brought in set of Trampoline poles and asked where I wanted them to go. I said that we didn't own a trampoline. They ended up having the wrong truck. The guy that had our's was in the same neighborhood, so they went and traded trucks. All was good the second time around. After unpacking everything in one day, I wasn't a very happy camper. to make matters worse, I noticed that one of the ceramic pedestals from the wedding was broken. We were hoping for a clean break, but the whole bottom was shattered.
We ended getting everything put into it's place that weekend. It was amazing and I'm so glad we did. We are enjoying our own home. It's beautiful, big, and we don't have to pay anything for it.
Christmas eve, Bryan and I went out for dinner at Ruby Tuesday and watched two movies. Then the next day, I cooked Christmas dinner,we played to the playstation, and watched some more movies. It really didn't feel like Christmas due to the fact that it was seventy degrees and people were wearing shorts. New Years Eve was amazing. We had our neighbors Josh and Rachel over and ate a ton of food that we didn't need.
This morning, Bryan and I started working on our goal. We want to look noticeably better by march. We lost some weight while we were in TEQ by eating tons of salads and hardly anything that was bad for us. So we woke up at 4:45 this morning to go for a run. Let's just say it was freezing outside, my lungs were shriveling up, and I only made it a mile.
Today, Bryan went back to work after having 10 out of 14 days off. I will probably be on the net for awhile, then play some Guitar Hero. I will blog some more later!
Hey everyone! I know that not many people read this, but I decided that I need to post another blog. We are now in Cherry Point, North Carolina. We left Friday morning at around 8:30 in the morning. On the way down, we had some pretty crazy things happen to us. Friday afternoon while driving through Kentucky, my mother called to inform me that my brake light was on and beeping. She said that we needed to stop in the next town to check it out. When we got therem we saw that the fluid was very low. Bryan went into the gas station and bought fluid. When Mike and Bryan started filling it up, I noticed that there was a leak under my car. Mike checked it out and said that it was brake fluid and the connectors to the brake line were rusted. We went to three repair shops before someone could fix it. They told us it would be an hour so we decided to go to Cracker Barrell for dinner. After dinner, we went back to the shop to pick up the car. On the way through town, a cop was stopped at a red light. Our side was still green so we went on through. My grandma and Mike on the other hand did not. Bryan and I stopped in a bank parking l0t to wait on them to get through. When we finally pulled out, the same cop, pulled out in front of Mike and got behind Bryan and I. We knew something was going to happen at that point. He then flicked on his lights. We pulled over into an empty parking lot. Mike pulled in and told the police officer that they were with us. He told them to pull over to the other side and he would be there to deal with them later. The whole time that happend, the policeman had his hand on his gun like my grandmother was some kind of a serial killer. He then came to my side of the car and asked for Bryan's license and registration. He told is that the reason he pulled us over was because Bryan's plates expired last February. We knew that he was full of it but Bryan said " ok sir." The cop then told us we could go because he said that he knew that since Bryan was in the military, that they didn't have much time to get the plates changed. Just to make sure. Bryan got out of the car to make sure that his plates were not expired and as we expected, they weren't. Needless to say we will never stop in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky ever again. Everything was dandy after that until we hit West Virginia.It was dark and there were many downgrades and turns in the road. My grandpa was tired and couldn't see very well which made him almost hit the concrete barrier on both sides of the road. We then stopped in Beckley, WV to get some rest.The next day went great. We had hardly any trouble. When we arrived here in Cherry Point, we met up with one of the guys Bryan is going to work with. After that, we got Bryan's car registered to the base and checked into TEQ. When we got to our room, we thought it was nice for the most part, but that night, we killed a roach. We haven't had one since though so we are happy for that. I don't have much time left right now, so I finish this story later. Odios!
Hey all! I hope that all of you had a Happy Thanksgiving and ate a lot of great food. Well, to update everyone a little bit, the movers came yesterday morning at about 10:30 am. They were pretty nice guys. They got everything packed and out in the truck by 2:00pm which was nice. Tiffany and I went to the high school to see some of our old teachers and friends yesterday morning also. It was so weird being back in school after not being there since May. After we headed out of the school, I had to say goodbye to Tiffany. It was hard, but since we haven't seen that much of each other since she went to college, it wasn't as hard as I thought but I did tear up since she has been my best friend since seventh grade.
Last night, Bryan and I also went over to Jarred and Cassie's house to visit for the last time for awhile :(. Denise ended up coming over too because I wanted to say goodbye to her also. I wrote her a card to tell her how much I appreciated her being there for me this past year. We hadn't really talked in awhile and I felt horrible. Saying goodbye to her and Cassie was really hard. I had tears in my eyes the whole time. I have been really close to Cassie and she has become my bestest friend. Tonight, she and Jarred stopped by to give us something. She gave me a card and wrote me a little note inside. Inside the envelope was a best friend keychain. I had tears in my eyes yet again.
This wasn't the first time that I had to say goodbye this week. I had to say goodbye to Karyn, Kristi, and Katrina, last Sunday after their family Thanksgiving. It was really hard to say goodbye to Karyn since we have become really close this past year while Bryan has been gone.
I also had to say goodbye to my dad and step-mom tonight. It was really hard because I haven't really been over there that much since I have graduated and been married. It is probably really hard seeing as how I am the first daughter to get married and move away. I am not only moving out of town, but out of state.
Well, tomorrow is the big day. We are off to start our new life together in Cherry Point, North Carolina. I am so excited but sad at the same time.

Thank you so much for being there for me. You are not only my seester, but one of my best friends. I am so glad that we have become so close and that you actually started to like me after awhile. lol! I love you seester and I promise to keep in touch!
This afternoon, Bryan and I went to my Grandma and Grandpa Faussets' house for Thanksgiving dinner. My amazing cousins from Kentucky came up to visit. It was the first time in three years that I have got to see my cousin Ricky. The last time I saw him, he was a little shorter, fifteen years old, and talked a lot. Now, he is much taller , eighteen years old, and still talks quite a bit. His sister Jessica, just had a baby in June, so she and her boyfriend along with their baby Jaylen, came up too.
Guess What?????? I finally got my braces off yesterday! Yay....Now I won't have to worry about flying home or finding an orthodontist in North Carolina. Anywho...Bryan and I are moving in 7 and a half days. It seems like I only picked him up from the airport yesterday! We have gotten a ton of things done since he has been home. Bryan called MCAS Cherry Point to ask about housing last week and the lady he talked to told us it would be about a one to three month wait for base housing. She told us to go ahead and apply for base housing, that way we will be on the list. Today, we took care of the car insurance. Bryan had an appointment with State Farm today and he obviously liked what the rates would be because we got it. Today, Bryan and I went to the Marine Corps Recruit Station in Kokomo to get a sheet stamped from when he did Recruiter's Assistant during Christmas leave. The Marine who took over SSgt Carter, asked me if I went to Frankfort High School since Bryan told them we were from Frankfort. I told him that I did and that I just graduated last May! He said " You probably know Jack Bower, he is home now on Boot Leave." I told him that I did know him and that he was one of my good friends. When we got home, we called Jack and asked if it would be ok if we stopped by to see him or if he would come by. He said that he would be really happy to. I am so excited to see him seeing as how the last time I saw him was at our wedding. I wrote to hime while he was at bootcamp twice but he only responded once. I also got a message on myspace from one of Bryan's friend Schuck's wife. I got to know her on my many trips to Pensacola. I believe they are now in California. Anyway... She told me that she and Craig are getting stationed at MCAS New River, which is only an hour south of where we will be. They won't be there until about January though. It will be awesome to be able to get together with them every once in awhile!I will keep updating!
